Thanks to unavailability of the blog names I wanted to have for my blog site and the permutations and combinations gave birth to this name. It is much more than I wanted the name should be. Like many bloggers out there, I enjoy writing and I enjoy sharing my views regarding various things around our lives, not very complicated, simple things we notice rarely but are important to us.
There are many beautiful things around us, there are many beautiful aspects of our own 'self's, Sometimes in our lives, we feel life is rich and, other times we feel different gaps. Our own existence at times feels like a question mark, something scientists and philosophers are struggling to find out from thousands of years probably.
How life for some people seems to be a cakewalk and others a continuous struggle. But we all keep moving, with the little knowledge about our self. The other day, a young girl asked me in my workshop, what is very important to us and we have not seen with our eyes. I asked everyone in the class, some answered God, some answered feelings and everyone came up with many things which can be important to us and we have not seen it. At last, I had to answer and the answer was very simple for me....'my face'. I have always seen an image of my face, never truly seen with my own eyes. Rest everything is our feelings, our emotions, the divine power we talk about, the big things.....but this small aspect of our life is something we do not even realize or think. The murmuring started in the class, one student started laughing saying we have not seen our back as well.....it is true, but back does not give us identity. Face is something that helps other to recognize us and differentiate us from others. The second question came, why people form opinion about others with their first impression.
The question was equally challenging, for me or for anyone, it is very simple to judge a person by his or her face or look but is that first impression is permanent? No. The first look helps us to judge the person in a particular situation, expect a particular response or reaction such as a smiling face should be helping, cooperative or accommodating, a frown face may be opposite. There can be several examples for good face and not so good face. There can be more examples of once good face, now not good face and also their can be more examples of face that looked dull, stressed and tired or face that looked happy and expressive. It is a general way we form opinion and adjust our behavior according to our needs and the situation.
However, forming a permanent opinion with the face or a look of a person is something one shall always avoid. Face or look is a part of one's personality not the complete personality of a person. This varies with the genetic background, personal situations and many other factors. However, the permanent features of an individual is something beyond his capacity and control. Its our creator who sends us with a destiny and we shape it or de-shape it with our deeds.
God has never left anyone with empty hands. Our creator has given us something for what we missed in our self. In life, it is very normal to have different kinds of people around us and its good to have some struggle, some bad phase that helps you find out those good people who make difference in your life, who help you in looking at the world around you from a different perspective, who help you keeping your faith with the almighty and who makes you believe that the world is a good place to live our lives, feel the beauty of this life, learn from our experiences and move ahead.
I know one thing, if you survived with a wound, the wound will heal and the life will continue. Be thankful to people around you who help you in the process of healing and continuing your life so that people around you can continue looking at your face and keep judging you and you could smile and continue your journey.
